Route Planner: Trip Times & Landing Prep

The Moon–Aundara run at ~65 km/s takes about 22 minutes — this page estimates the trip from your cruise speed and keeps every confirmed planet, station and landing number in one table. Tick off the places you have visited and the list remembers in your browser.

Visited Planet / body Type How to get there
CONFIRMED Planet — start Every save begins in the Earth headquarters garage. First contracts are courier and delivery runs — make sure cargo fits and the cabin is sealed.
CONFIRMED Planet — first hop The first destination after Earth. Fly out, flip around, and brake down into its thin atmosphere. It is a fictional Moon — it has thin air, lakes, trees and mammoths.
CONFIRMED Planet Sits behind the Moon — head for the far side and look for a small dark grey-brown dot. The long-range rangefinder cannot reach it, so the community uses a zoom camera plus a monitor crosshair, or rolls ~45° with Earth’s shadow as the reference.
CONFIRMED Ringed planet The next stop after the Moon’s missions, per launch-week streams. Flew to via the interference-signal hunt — work the signal up while flying around the planet.
CONFIRMED Planet Beyond the Moon on the tuned route set. Named alongside the sun and the red dwarf as confirmed locations.
PLAYER-REPORTED Water planet — player name A smaller water planet further out — reached via a submarine-delivery mission. “Pandora” is the community’s name for it; the official name is unconfirmed.
CONFIRMED Star — hazard Whether the sun itself can ever be reached is not confirmed — in the demo it was a background object.
CONFIRMED Star — hazard The second star body named in the confirmed locations set.
CONFIRMED Base Confirmed by patch 1.0.009 — route and requirements are not yet confirmed.
COMMUNITY Planet — unverified Named in early planning threads.
COMMUNITY Planet — unverified Named in early planning threads alongside Marretti.
DEMO EVENT Demo-era event Limited-time demo events — the water planet from Fred’s Quest is not part of the official 15.

Moon → Aundara trip estimator

95M game-distance (patch 1.0.005)

≈ 24 min

straight-line estimate at 65 km/s — braking and energy losses add time

Reference runs (player-measured): fast ship, direct ≈ 20–22 min · keep ~25k and be near ~1k at atmosphere entry ≈ about 1 h · slow ship up to 2 h, or ≈ 30 min with the Brake System (BPS).

How this page is checked

Everything in the table comes from the site’s verified pages — planets and locations and the Aundara trip guide — which are built from the Steam store page, official patch notes, Steam discussions and player-measured reports. Where a number is not published, the row says so instead of guessing: the complete official list of all 15 planet names has never been published, so anything unverified is labelled community talk.

The estimator uses the patch 1.0.005 distance figure (95M, shortened from 115M) and your own speed readout. At ~65 km/s it returns ≈ 24 min, matching the player-measured ~22-minute direct flight; at the commenter-recommended ~25k cruise it returns about an hour.
